Principal's Message

On behalf of the entire staff at Roselle Park Middle School, it is my pleasure to welcome you and your family to the 2026–2027 school year! We are excited to begin another year filled with opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Over the past year, I have had the privilege of working alongside our dedicated staff, talented students, and supportive families. Every day, I have been inspired by the accomplishments of our school community, and I remain committed to ensuring that every student has access to meaningful academic experiences, positive relationships, and opportunities to reach their full potential.

At Roselle Park Middle School, we believe that a strong partnership between school and home is essential to student success. Together, we will continue preparing our children for bright futures by providing the academic foundation, character development, and life skills they need to thrive. Our work will continue to be guided by our Panther PRIDE values of Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Empathy, while maintaining a strong focus on academic excellence and a positive, inclusive school culture.

This year, we are excited to continue our partnership with NJPBSIS to promote positive school culture, recognize student success, and provide tiered academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports that meet the needs of all learners. We will also continue our advisory program, providing students with small-group opportunities to build the social and emotional skills that are essential for success in school and beyond.

Beyond the classroom, our students can choose from a wide variety of clubs, activities, and athletic programs that help them discover new interests, build friendships, and develop leadership skills. We encourage every student to get involved and make the most of their middle school experience. In addition, our psychologist, social worker, learning consultant, and school counselors are available to support the academic, social, and emotional needs of our students throughout the year.

We truly value the partnership we share with our families and encourage open communication. Whether you have a question, a concern, or a success you'd like to celebrate, our staff is here to help. Please feel free to contact us by email or schedule an appointment so we can give you our full attention while minimizing interruptions to the school day.

As we begin this exciting new school year, I look forward to working together with our students, families, and staff to make the 2026–2027 school year a rewarding and memorable one. Thank you for your continued support, and welcome back to Roselle Park Middle School. We can't wait to see all that our Panthers will accomplish this year!

Sincerely,

Michelle Queiruga

Principal

PHILOSOPHY OF ROSELLE PARK MIDDLE SCHOOL

History

Roselle Park Middle School was founded in 1960. The current building, located on West Grant Avenue, was erected in 1931 and first served as the Roselle Park High School.

RPMS Mission

The Roselle Park Middle School’s mission is to provide a well-rounded, challenging education in a safe and caring environment.  It is our goal to develop a love of learning in our students. We hope to instill this in our students now, but also have it carry into college or a career.  To accomplish this, we are committed to working in unison with the teachers, students, parents and community.

Core Values

It is our goal to develop students with moral character by teaching everyone about the values that are part of Panther PRIDE-perseverance, respect, integrity, determination, and empathy. The core values will support students in becoming productive citizens of their communities who will successfully navigate the societal or social obstacles that they may encounter.

  • With perseverance students will learn to persist despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.
  • Through respect students will learn to have self-respect and regard for others and their property.
  • With integrity students will learn to be honest and hold strong moral principles.
  • With determination students will learn to set goals and establish a purpose.
  • With empathy students will learn to understand and see the world through another’s perspective.

In order to achieve these goals, Roselle Park Middle School staff members are committed to being models of these core values and will promote behavior of a high level of character.
