Where Children Come First

A Message from Ms. Queiruga

Good afternoon RPMS parents and guardians,

We had a fantastic first day of school and we look forward to seeing students again tomorrow.  Laptop distribution began today with our 8th graders and some of our 7th graders.  Tomorrow distribution will continue for 7th grade as well as 6th grade.  As a reminder, laptop insurance must be either waived or paid and Genesis forms must be completed in order for a student to receive a laptop.  Insurance payments can be made via Genesis as well as sent in person with students.  Our tech department is working very hard to get laptops distributed to all of our eligible students; we appreciate your patience.

We met as a school community briefly this morning to start our day with the Pledge of Allegiance. Students then went to their homerooms with their teachers, to receive their locker assignments, review expectations and protocols for the school year.

Students also received information about the expectations that all internet enabled devices be silenced and stored in lockers for the duration of the school day. This includes, but is not limited to, cell phones, air pods, wireless devices, and blue tooth enabled devices.

A reminder that tomorrow is an early dismissal day, with students being dismissed at 12:20.

Thank you for your support and collaboration as we begin the 2026-2027 school year.  Have a wonderful afternoon.
