Good afternoon RPMS Families,

On Thursday, September 18th, we will have our Back to School Night at the middle school.  We are excited to see parents and guardians on Thursday evening, where teachers will share information about their different courses.  As a reminder students will dismiss at 12:20 pm.  Lunch is not provided on early dismissal days.

As we prepare, I wanted to share some information about how the night will run.  Our front doors will open at 6:15, where everyone will be directed to meet in the auditorium.  The meeting will start at 6:30, with a welcome message from administration, introduction of staff, and information provided by our PTA.  

After the welcome meeting concludes, parents/guardians will be guided to travel to their child’s homeroom.  Parents/guardians will spend the rest of the evening following their child’s daily schedule.  Schedules are available on Genesis and students have prepared copies as well, which will be available in their respective homerooms.

All physical education and health classes will meet in the auditorium.  Cycles classes will meet in the art room, #104.  During your child’s lunch period, please visit the cafeteria, where there will be different organizations with information about their roles in the school community.  Additionally, our guidance team will be in the cafeteria during that time, where you will be able to get information from them as well.

Students should not attend back to school night.  The event is for parents/guardians only.  Our Council of Ten Members will be present to assist with guiding parents/guardians to locate classrooms.
