Weekly Announcements

Good afternoon RPMS Families, 

Happy Friday! I hope that this email finds you well.  This week marked the start of marking period 4.  Report cards will be available on April 26th.  Congratulations to 8th grade students who competed in this week’s State TSA Competition.  RPMS was well represented by our students and several awards were won by our team!  Congratulations as well to Ms. Hickman and Ms. Sedelmaier, our TSA Advisors.  We also continued Autism Acceptance Month with daily facts and our spirit days this week.

New Information:

 PTA: The PTA is still looking for volunteers and donations for Teacher Appreciation Week.  Please see attached flyers.  Also, if you are interested in running for PTA President or Treasurer, for a 2 year term, please contact one of the PTA officers directly. 

8th Grade Parents: Information regarding 8th grade has been posted on our middle school website under the tab “Everything 8th Grade”.  Here is the link for your convenience: Everything 8th Grade 

Student Dress Code: As the weather is beginning to warm up, please carefully review the student dress code, as explained in the Parent Handbook: Student Dress Code  A few gentle reminders: Crocs must be in sport mode (with the straps up).  No slide style shoes are permitted.  Midriffs should not be visible and spaghetti strap tops can be worn only with another shirt over them.  Shorts must be appropriate length and spandex bike shorts are not permitted.

Talent Show: The RPMS Talent Show will be on 4/26.  Parents of students participating are invited to attend.  The Talent Show will start promptly at 10AM.

Bring Your Child to Work Day: If your child will be absent on 4/25 due to Bring Your Child to Work Day, please ensure to send a Genesis note to let the school know in advance.  Upon returning to school the following day, please send a letter from your employer as proof so that the absence can be excused.
